An alternate view can be found in Merriman's Genealogical Standards of Evidence, wherein she argues that the terms "family historian" and "genealogist" are now wholly interchangeable.[3] Selected publications - Tracing Your Ancestors (Foyle's Handbook, 1964, 1966, 1970) ISBN 70710461 0.
