Because it was not a gift from a Russian tsar to his tsarina, it is not considered an "imperial" Fabergé egg but rather, in this instance, is called one of the "Kelch" eggs. It is one of the largest such eggs ever created in Fabergé's workshop.[1] It is also one of the very few Fabergé eggs which lies on its side rather than upright. In November 1996 a man named Adulph Peter Goop, an art collector from Liechtenstein, purchased the egg at a Sotheby's auction. Then, in 2010, shortly before his death, Goop bequeathed the egg to the State of Liechstein which now holds the egg at its Liechtensteinisches Landesmuseum in the city of Vaduz.[2] References1. ^{{cite book|author=Suzi Love|title=Easter In Images: Book 2 History Events|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=ldpnBgAAQBAJ&pg=RA1-PA1885|date=1 April 2014|publisher=Suzi Love|isbn=978-0-9923456-9-3|page=1}} {{Commons cat}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Apple Blossom (Faberge Egg)}}{{Fabergé egg}}2. ^{{cite web|title=Luxarazzi 101: Fabergé's Apple Blossom Egg|url=http://www.luxarazzi.com/2014/04/luxarazzi-101-faberges-apple-blossom-egg.html|date=20 April 2014|author= Sydney Luxarazzi}} 1 : Kelch Fabergé eggs |
