The series documents singer and songwriter Ariana Grande, her backup tour dancers, management team, album producers, friends and family as they embark on her 2017 Dangerous Woman Tour. On February 16, 2019, Ariana announced on her Twitter that Sweetener Diaries, a follow up to this series, will be in production throughout the course of her Sweetener World Tour.
