Arthur Shadwell (September 1854– March 1936) was a physician and author. His works included:

Arthur Shadwell is an alumnus of Uppingham and Keble College, Oxford.^[2] Shadwell completed his clinical training at Saint Bartholomew's Hospital. He was an assistant physician in Brighton at Sussex County Hospital before he decided to pursue his dream of writing on public health, temperance, and wider problems of economics and politics.^[3]
