The Asante Akim Central Municipal is one of the districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. It was formerly the Asante Akim North Municipal. The municipality is located in the Eastern part of Ashanti Region and has Konongo as its capital town. The member of parliament for the municipal is Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi and Susan Akomea is the Municipal Chief Executive.[1][2] Members of parliament
