The station is named after the nearby Ashikaga Flower Park. The station opened on 1 April 2018.[1] LinesAshikaga Flower Park Station is served by the {{Convert|84.4|km|abbr=on}} Ryomo Line from {{STN|Oyama}} to {{STN|Shin-Maebashi}}, and is located 32.0 km from the starting point of the line at Oyama.
