{{outdated|date=March 2019}}Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame is an award for Australian martial artists practitioners of any style,[1] The hall of fame recognises those who make an outstanding contribution to martial arts, consistently demonstrate excellence and unselfishly promote the growth of martial arts.[2] The current president is Les Elliott[3][4] and Vice President John Whipp.[5][6][7][8]

2016 award ceremony

Terry Lim lifetime achievement award recipient for running martial arts tournaments 3 times per year for the last 3 decades and over 3000 students having learned from his academy demonstrated his abilities during the induction ceremony in Adelaide by bending a two-meter metal rod with his throat then he was struck with a sledge hammer breaking three concrete roof tiles on his back. Melbourne Wing Chun Instructor Maurice Novoa Ruiz invited one of his own Wing Chun masters Felix Leong to join him as his guest at Terry Lim's Black Tie dinner award night to personally support Lim's induction into AMAHOF.[5]
