It was designed by Sanguinet & Staats.[2][3] It was purchased by Paun Peters, the president of the Western Production Company, in 2007.[2] It was listed for sale for $8 million in 2017.[2][3] The house has been listed as a Texas Historic Landmark by the Texas Historical Commission since 1978.[2] Its historic marker reads {{quote|The Balridge House. This house was part of the original Chamberlain–Arlington Heights development of the 1890s. Earl and Florence Baldridge built this elegant residence in 1910–13. Designed by the architectural firm of Sanguinet & Staats, it was a showplace of the time. Massive limestone columns line the facade. Carved oak woodwork decorates the interior. The home was occupied for many years by W. C. Stonestreet, a prominent Fort Worth clothier. Recorded Texas Historic Landmark—1978.[4][5]}}References1. ^{{cite news|last1=Richter|first1=Marice|title=History: Baldridge House on the market|url=http://www.fortworthbusiness.com/news/briefs/history-baldridge-house-on-the-market/article_65f91f28-1bdc-11e7-af1b-876e884c79ec.html|accessdate=July 14, 2017|work=Fort Worth Business Press|date=April 7, 2017}} {{DEFAULTSORT:Baldridge House}}{{Texas-struct-stub}}2. ^1 2 3 {{cite news|last1=Tarmy|first1=James|title=This $8 Million Texas Mansion Comes With a Secret Vault|url=https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-08/this-8-million-texas-mansion-comes-with-a-secret-vault|accessdate=July 14, 2017|work=Bloomberg Pursuits|date=March 8, 2017}} 3. ^1 {{cite news|last1=Press|first1=Rick|title=For sale in Fort Worth: $8 million mansion and a piece of Cowtown history|url=http://www.star-telegram.com/news/business/article137706648.html|accessdate=July 14, 2017|work=Fort Worth Star-Telegram|date=March 10, 2017}} 4. ^{{cite web|title=Baldridge House marker, Fort Worth, Tarrant County|url=http://www.waymarking.com/gallery/image.aspx?f=1&guid=12db5103-5795-4de8-8e17-bc1123fc9edd&gid=3|website=Waymarking.com|accessdate=July 14, 2017}} 5. ^{{cite news|last1=Hlavaty|first1=Craig|title=Fort Worth's $8 million Baldridge House comes with its own bank vault, Texas historical marker|url=http://www.chron.com/homes/article/8-million-Fort-Worth-home-comes-with-its-own-11014334.php|accessdate=July 14, 2017|work=The Houston Chronicle|date=March 20, 2017}} 2 : Houses in Fort Worth, Texas|Houses completed in 1913 |
