HistoryThe station opened on 7 May 1906 by the Bankfoot Light Railway. It was the northern terminus of the short line and was north of {{rws|Strathord}} station. Opposite the only platform were goods sidings and a goods shed. The station was closed to both passengers and goods traffic on 14 April 1931.
