The series is produced by Silent Crow Arts.[7] In 2017, the DIY Network commissioned 26 more episodes of the series.[8] The eighth season will premiere on April 7, 2019. PremiseBarnwood Builders follows Mark Bowe, whose West Virginia company[9] purchases old barns and log cabins in order to reuse the hand-hewn logs in modern housebuilding.[10] His team specializes in the reclamation and restoration of pioneer era structures in the eastern United States.[11][12][13][14]Cast
