It has a fractional sloop rig, a plumb stem, a vertical transom, dual transom-hung rudders controlled by a tiller and a centreboard or optional fixed fin keel. It displaces {{convert|4740|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} and carries {{convert|1433|lb|kg|0|abbr=on}} of ballast.[1] The keel-equipped version of the boat has a draft of {{convert|4.76|ft|m|abbr=on}}, while the centreboard-equipped version has a draft of {{convert|6.07|ft|m|abbr=on}} with the centreboard extended and {{convert|2.79|ft|m|abbr=on}} with it retracted.[1] The boat is optionally fitted with a Nanni Industries diesel engine of {{convert|14|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}}.
