}}Bhavin Turakhia (born 21 December 1979) is an Indian Entrepreneur, billionaire, and Founder of Flock, Radix, CodeChef, and Ringo, as well as the co-founder of Media.net and Zeta. He is currently CEO of Flock and Zeta.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] In 2016, Bhavin was ranked as the 95th richest person in India, with a net worth of US$1.3 billion, along with his brother Divyank Turakhia, according to Forbes.[9][10][11] He has been honored as a 2011 Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.[12][13][14]

Early life

Born in Mumbai, he did his schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir, Bandra.[9] He attended D.G. Ruparel College[15] to study science and later dropped out[16] and then completed his bachelor's degree in commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics.[17][18]

Career

In 1998 with a capital of ₹25,000[19][20] (US$375), Bhavin Turakhia at the age of 18, started his first tech venture Directi with his brother Divyank Turakhia.[21][4][22][23][24]

In 2014, Bhavin and Divyank sold four of their web presence companies – BigRock, LogicBoxes, ResellerClub, and Webhosting.info – to Nasdaq-listed U.S.-based web-hosting firm Endurance International Group, for $160 million.[25][26]

In August 2016, Bhavin and Divyank Turakhia sold off their Dubai and New York-based ad-technology company Media.net, founded in 2010, to a Chinese Consortium for $900 million.[27][28] Mr. Zhiyong Zhang, who is the chairman of Beijing Miteno Communication Technology led the Consortium. Beijing Miteno Communication Technology is a technology, media and telecom company. This is the third largest ad-tech deal in history and amongst the largest bootstrapped cash exits worldwide.[29][30][31]

He currently operates Flock,[32][33][34] Ringo, Radix and Zeta.[35][36][37][38][39][40][41][42][43][44][45][3]
