There is both a free and a paid version of the platform.[4] It aims to “democratize” video for use by businesses.[7] Users create their video from their own images, audio, and text, used alongside Biteable animation and supplied footage. [8] During the first year Biteable had 90,000 clients and created 100,000 videos. Initially all Biteable videos were free, but came with a watermark, which cost a fee to remove. Following this, the company created a subscription platform for watermark-free videos.[9] As of March 2018, four million videos have been made with Biteable’s platform.[10] References1. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.themercury.com.au/news/tasmania/hobart-hitech-startup-broadens-its-horizons-with-seed-investment/news-story/9124f2ec884f45f6b35297957afcea1b|title=Bigger bite for apple isle|date=29 November 2015|publisher=The Mercury}} 2. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-02/start-ups-share-their-wish-list-ahead-of-innovation-statement/6995228|title=Start-ups share their wish lists ahead of Innovation Statement|first=Hayden|last=Cooper|date=2 December 2015|website=ABC News}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.startupdaily.net/2018/03/demand-video-startup-biteable-raises-2-8-million-cybersecurity-startup-kasada-raises-2-5-million/|title=On-demand video startup Biteable raises $2.8 million as cybersecurity startup Kasada raises $2.5 million|date=26 March 2018|publisher=Startup Daily}} 4. ^1 2 {{cite web|url=http://www.finsmes.com/2018/03/biteable-raises-2-8m-aud-in-series-a-funding.html|title=Biteable Raises $2.8M AUD in Series A Funding|first=|last=FinSMEs|date=27 March 2018|website=FinSMEs}} 5. ^1 {{cite web|url=https://techinvest.online/world-leading-video-maker-biteable-raises-2-8-million-aud-to-drive-further-global-growth/|title=World leading video maker Biteable raises $2.8 million AUD to drive further global growth|date=27 March 2018|website=TechInvest Magazine Online}} 6. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.afr.com/technology/canva-for-video-startup-biteable-gets-funding-from-tank-stream-microequities-20180324-h0xwho|title='Canva for video' start-up Biteable gets funding from Tank Stream, Microequities|date=25 March 2018|website=Australian Financial Review}} 7. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.61-bit.com/feature/biteable-series-a/|title='Canva for videos' startup raises $2.8 million in funding|website=61-Bit}} 8. ^https://www.journalism.co.uk/news/tool-for-journalists-biteable-for-making-video-animations-on-the-web/s2/a655650/ 9. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.startupdaily.net/2015/11/hobart-video-startup-biteable-raises-1-1-million-seed-round-led-by-tank-stream-ventures/|title=Hobart video startup Biteable raises $1.1 million seed round led by Tank Stream Ventures|date=26 November 2015|publisher=Startup Daily}} 10. ^{{cite web|url=http://anthillonline.com/world-leading-video-maker-biteable-has-raised-a-au2-8-million-series-a-funding-round/|title=Biteable raises AU$2.8 million Series A funding round|first=Gerald|last=Ainomugisha|date=6 April 2018|publisher=Ant Hill}} 2 : 2014 establishments in Australia|Video editing software |
