It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.[1] It has also been known as the Swanland Hotel. It was deemed "significant as an excellent surviving example of an early twentieth-century residential lodging facility."[3] It is a two-story brick {{convert|25x40|ft|m}} commercial building. Its facade is faced with light-colored commercial brick; the sides are red brick, probably locally produced.[2] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2013a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Montana-NRHP-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=90000085}}|title=National Register of Historic Places Registration: Blue Front Rooming House / Swanland Hotel |publisher=National Park Service|author=Mark A.
