It will be a turbo-variant of predecessor BMW M4 DTM that had naturally aspirated engine. The M4 Turbo DTM still remain based on the production BMW M4. BMW M4 Turbo DTM will make DTM début ahead of 2019 DTM season. The M4 Turbo was BMW's first turbo powered DTM car since the BMW M3 E30 DTM in 1987. DébutThe first run of BMW M4 Turbo DTM was shakedowned on 27 October 2018, carried by Bruno Spengler at BMW headquarters in Munich, Germany.[2] New engineThe M4 Turbo DTM features a brand-new engine package built specifically for the car.
