They released their debut album "Rhombus Now" on Holy Roar Records in August 2014. BackgroundThe band originally began as a two-piece act consisting of Calvin Rhodes on guitar and Ryan Bright on drums. Upon leaving Rolo Tomassi, Joe Nicholson and Joseph Thorpe joined as guitarist and bassist respectively and the existing tracks were reworked to be played as a full band. In contrast to Calvin's time in Antares, more attention was paid towards studying the tonal and rhythmic qualities as a means to elicit emotion during songwriting.[2] Since the release of their debut album Rhombus Now, the band have been steadily building a cult following, winning plenty of praise for their performance at ArcTanGent Festival in 2015.[3][4][5] Musical StyleTheir sound is characterised by the changing time signatures and polyrhythms associated with math rock.
