BoundariesThe constituency encompasses Bogra Sadar Upazila.[2][3] HistoryThe constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973. Members of ParliamentElectionsElections in the 2010sNurul Islam Omar was elected unopposed in the 2014 general election after opposition parties withdrew their candidacies in a boycott of the election.[9] Elections in the 2000sKhaleda Zia stood for three seats in the 2008 general election: Bogra-6, Bogra-7, and Feni-1.
