HistoryThe station opened in 1847 by the East and West Yorkshire Junction Railway.[1] The station was situated north of {{rws|Copgrove}} and south of {{rws|Brafferton}} station. The station was resited in 1875 and the first station remained open for goods traffic until 1964.[2]. The second station opened in 1875 and closed for passengers in 1950.
