Early lifeScheer was born in Esperance, Western Australia but moved to the Gold Coast at the age of 13.[1] Junior footballHe played his junior football for Palm Beach Currumbin Australian Football Club and set a club record for the youngest senior debutant at the age of 15.[2] He also joined the Gold Coast Suns' academy in his teenage years as well as attending Palm Beach Currumbin High School.[3] Scheer was selected to represent both Queensland and the Allies in 2016 at the under 18 national championships.
