}}Brett Francis is a North American keynote speaker, trainer, mental health advocate and entrepreneur.[1][2][3] She also hosts the Radio show Not Broken and Breaking The Barriers TV Series.[4] She is author of the book Not Broken: How to overcome mental health challenges and unlock your full potential.[5]

Early life and education

Francis was born in 1989 in Herbert, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome and ADHD at the age of 6.[6] At age 17, she was re-diagnosed with the same and in addition anxiety, OCD and panic disorder.[7] She graduated from Miller Comprehensive High School in 2007 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. In 2012, Francis was also involved in 2 motor vehicle accidents due to which she suffers severe chronic pain and other long term physical injuries.[8][9]

Career

Francis became a professional speaker at 20 years of age. She started her first business at age 22. Francis has provided training and talks to multinational corporate houses for corporate training, leadership, productivity, team-building, stress management, emotional intelligence and communication.[10] She has given motivational speeches to other organizations about mental health, mental illness and disabilities, stigma, awareness and her personal story.[11] She started mental health clothing line in 2015 "Not Broken Clothing".[12] She is endorsed by Mental Health America and Canadian Mental Health Association as a Mental Health Advocate, and is Mental Health First Aid Certified.[13]
