Hailing from an athletic family, Gilman began skiing at a very young age and competed in the USSA U14 Prater Cup at the age of 11.[4] She later began snowboarding and was competing on the Professional Half pipe circuit by age 17.[5] She was a member of the US Junior Olympic Snowboard Team in 2002 as well as held multiple snowboard sponsors including Never Summer, Bolle, 686, and Tech Nine.[6] As a child, Gilman appeared in several commercials and a few television shows for local businesses. Gilman attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she received her bachelor's degree in kinesiology and was a member of the CU Ski and Snowboard Team. She was a strength and conditioning coach graduate assistant at Auburn University where she completed her Masters in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Biomechanics.[2] CareerGilman worked for USC Football in 2005–2006 as a strength and conditioning coach intern during the tenure of head coach football coach Pete Carroll.[3] Many players from this time went on to play professional football including Reggie Bush, Lendale White, Matt Leinert, Frostee Rucker, Deuce Lutui, and Mark Sanchez. In addition to working with USC, Gilman also worked at Velocity Sports Performance where she assisted in the NFL Combine Preparation training of numerous athletes. After a year and a half in L.A., Gilman moved to Auburn, Alabama, where she served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach training the Women’s Tennis Team, Men and Women’s Track/Cross-Country, Men and Women’s Diving, as well as several professional athletes.[2] After completing her master's degree from Auburn, she returned to Los Angeles and founded BG Sports Enterprises, a sports marketing agency in 2007.[7][8] The agency has represented and worked with NFL players including Roman Harper, Antoine Bethea, Tarell Brown, Jermon Bushrod, Jeremy Kerley, Garrett Hartley, Jonathan Casillas, Will Allen, Darren McFadden, Stevenson Sylvester.[9] Gilman is also a sports and fitness model and appeared in numerous television programs and shows. As a child, Gilman also starred in several commercials for Powderhorn ski resort and television shows for children "Really Short Show" for the Dinosaur Museum of Grand Junction.
