Hara, who was born in Canberra, made two appearances for the Comets in Australia's domestic one-day competition, both in the 1998/99 season. On debut he was run out for one by Michael Hussey at Manuka Oval and in his other match, at Adelaide Oval, he was trapped LBW for a duck by fast bowler Paul Wilson.[1] He has also played cricket in England before and after his season at the Comets, with stints as a professional for Lancashire clubs Barnoldswick and Heywood.[2][3] References1. ^{{cite web |subscription=yes |url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/7/7368/List_A_Matches.html|title=List A Matches played by Bruce Hara|work=CricketArchive|accessdate=5 November 2016}} 2. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/6178438.CRICKET__Cherry_on_top/|title=Cricket: Cherry on top|date=9 June 1997|accessdate=5 November 2016}} 3. ^{{cite news|url=http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/cricket/how-bobbys-battlers-enjoyed-a-perfect-899910|title=How Bobby's battlers enjoyed a perfect ten|date=30 September 2010|work=Manchester Evening News|accessdate=5 November 2016}} External links
