Kristall is the most successful Russian club at the Euro Winners Cup, having won twice in 2014 and 2015. The team has won four out of five finals at the national championships, and won the 2015 and 2017 Russian Beach Soccer Cup. At the 2nd Russian Super Cup in 2018, Kristall defeated arch-rival BSC Lokomotiv. Kristall was founded in 2006 on the basis of the Research and Production Center "Polyus" for the participation at the Saint Petersburg Championship and Cup. Since 2011, Kristall is playing in the national elite division. Also in 2011, Kristall won the OBSL Grand-Prix Winter. In 2012, Kristall joined the holding company NOVA Group, leading to the popularization of the club throughout Russia.[1] Kristall became runner-up at the Russian Championships and third-place finisher at the Russian Cup.
