She has been at Salpointe since 2006.[2] WeightliftingShe competed in the super heavyweight class. She won the silver medal at the 1991 and 1993 World Weightlifting Championships.[4] Discus trowingGarett participated at the 1992 Summer Olympics in the discus throw event. Garrett didn't make it out of her group in the qualifying heats, finishing 13th out of 14 with a throw of 58.06 meters. She also competed at the 1991 and 1993 World Championships in Athletics. Her personal best is 60.54 metre, set in 1992.
