It can be distinguished from its family by its symmetrical testicular configuration; its uterus passing between the testes. Furthermore, what differentiates it from its cogenerates is caecal length; cirrus sac length; its internal seminal vesicle's shape; vitelline extent and arrangement, as well as forebody length and egg-size.[1] References1. ^{{cite journal|last1=Bray|first1=R.A.|last2=Waeschenbach|first2=A.|last3=Dyal|first3=P.|last4=Littlewood |first4=D.T.|last5=Morand|first5=S.|title=New digeneans (Opecoelidae) from hydrothermal vent fishes in the south eastern Pacific Ocean, including one new genus and five new species|journal=Zootaxa|volume=3768|issue=1|year=2014|pages=73–87|doi=10.11646/zootaxa.3768.1.5|pmid=24871167}} External links
