Central Park Rangers FC is an American football club based in Manhattan, New York, America. They are currently members of Cosmopolitan Soccer League in tier 5 of American Soccer and play at Randall's Island.

History

Central Park Rangers, the team affectionately known as CPR was founded on Ash Wednesday in 1999. The team developed out of the Blue Hawaii indoor soccer team at Chelsea Piers and was the mastermind of Paul Clayton and David Lockyer. They called a team meeting at Thady Con’s on that winter Wednesday night to gauge the interest level and begin to formulate the plans for the inaugural season.^[1]
