He will retire as Bishop of Montana on November 1, 2018. BiographyBrookhart was born, raised and educated in Ohio. He graduated from Wittenberg University and attended divinity school at Vanderbilt University. He received his M.Div. from Lutheran Theological Seminary. His D.Min. in homiletics was conferred by United Theological Seminary. He was consecrated on September 27, 2003 in Helena, Montana. See also
