It was previewed by a pre-production show car on the 2016 Beijing Auto Show. The production version of the Changan CS95 SUV for China was unveiled on the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show,[1][2] with the launch on the Chinese auto market in 2017. Despite the name, it was a completely different vehicle to the Changan CS95 Concept revealed in Auto Shanghai 2013. Pricing ranges from 159,800 yuan to 229,800 yuan ($23,185 – 33,342 USD). The CS95 is the largest passenger car under the Changan product range. The CS95 is available as both five and seven-seater variants, and is powered by a 2.0 turbo with {{convert|233|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} and {{convert|380|Nm|lb·ft|0|abbr=on}} of torque. The only gearbox available is six-speed automatic and equipped with Changan’s NexTrac AWD system.[3] CHANGAN 2019 CS95 is launched in April 2019 in China market. 2019 CS95 has been greatly improved in appearance and interior, the configuration has been fully upgraded. As Changan's flagship SUV model, price of 2019 CS95 starts at 165,900 yuan and ends at 213,900 yuan (~US$24,690 – 31,838) in China market.[4] Changan 2019 CS95's Blue Whale 2.0T engine was jointly developed by Chang'an Headquarters and Chang'an UK Center. It was awarded the title of "Top Ten Engine" in China and meets the latest China-VI(CN6) emission standards. The maximum power is 171kW, torque of 360N.m, with Aisin high-performance gearbox, it has good acceleration capability.
