Early life and education

Charles Clark Jamieson was born on November 3, 1866[4] in Glover, Vermont to William S. and Isabella Jamieson.[5] He attended the United States Military Academy, graduating with the class of 1892.[6]

Career

Jamieson served with the 15th Infantry and was stationed at Fort Sheridan from 1892 to 1895.[7]

From 1900 to 1903, he taught at the United States Military Academy.[8] He then was transferred to the Rock Island Arsenal.[9]

Jamieson received a promotion to major with the Ordnance Department on June 25, 1906.[4]

Jamieson incurred a disability in the line of duty and retired on October 12, 1910.[4][10]

He was recalled to active duty, during World War I.[11]

Civilian career

As a civilian, he worked as an engineer with offices in New York.[12]

Personal life

Jamieson married Frances P. Floyd on June 12, 1894.[13] Together, they had two children. Frances died on July 24, 1924.[14]

Jamieson married Anne Uezzel on July 12, 1930.[15]

Death and legacy

Jamieson died on August 21, 1935.[16]
