Education and legal careerOriginally from Albany, Georgia, he received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology in 1995 from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 1999 from the University of Georgia School of Law.[1] Before co-founding Flynn Peeler & Phillips in 2005, Peeler was an attorney at King & Spalding. His legal practice focused on complex civil litigation and federal criminal issues.[2][3][4] U.S. AttorneyOn August 3, 2017, President Donald Trump nominated Peeler to become the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia. On November 9, 2017, his nomination was confirmed by voice vote in the United States Senate. He was sworn into office on November 22, 2017.
