Charles Sherman Haight of Park Ave NY (August 8, 1870 – February 20, 1938[1]) was married to Alice M Hoyt Haight (February 18, 1867 – September 30, 1937). He is the grandfather of Charles Sherman Haight. He was an Admiralty Expert, Specialist on International Relations in Shipping, founder of boys school and Founder of Seamen's Church Institute of New York and New Jersey. SonHis son, Charles Sherman Haight Jr., born July 31, 1903, died April 18, 1968,[2] married Miss Helen Margaret Edwards (Born: March 18, 1906, Died: February 28, 1984 [3]) on September 7, 1929, daughter of Mrs. Oliver Edwards of New York and the late Colonel Edwards in 1929.[4][5] [6]WorksHe authored a legal book about the laws relating to bills of lading.
