Both veins drain different parts of the choroid plexus. Superior choroid veinThe superior choroid vein runs along the length of the choroid plexus in the lateral ventricle. It drains the choroid plexus, and also the hippocampus, fornix, and corpus callosum. It unites with the superior thalamostriate vein to form the internal cerebral vein.[1][2] Inferior choroid veinThe inferior choroid vein drains the inferior choroid plexus into the basal vein.[1] References1. ^1 {{cite book|last1=Alberts|display-authors=et al|first1=Daniel|title=Dorland's illustrated medical dictionary.|date=2012|publisher=Saunders/Elsevier|location=Philadelphia, PA|isbn=978-1-4160-6257-8|page=2038|edition=32nd}} {{VeinsHeadNeck}}{{circulatory-stub}}2. ^{{cite book|last1=Netter|first1=Frank H.|title=Atlas of Human Anatomy Including Student Consult Interactive Ancillaries and Guides.|date=2014|publisher=W B Saunders Co|location=Philadelphia, Penn.|isbn=978-1-4557-0418-7|pages=146–147|edition=6th}} 1 : Veins of the head and neck |
