Claudio Fabian Tapia (born September 22, 1967) is the current President of the Argentine Football Association (Spanish: Asociación del Fútbol Argentino). Born in San Juan, Tapia moved to San Telmo, Buenos Aires as a child. He played football, originally as a sweeper, then as a striker for Barracas Central.[1] Tapia was voted President of the AFA on March 29, 2017, with a mandate until 2021.
