[1] One of her first major storylines saw her start an illicit relationship with her teacher, Barry O'Hanlon played by Pat Nolan.[2] Niamh was featured in story lines involving her tumultuous relationship with her on-again-off-again husband, Paul Brennan.[3][4][5][6] In 2014, Niamh's biggest story line came when she began an affair with younger man, Michael.
