It was described by Moriuti in 1974. It is found in Taiwan[1] and China (Guangdong). Adults are on wing in late May and early June in one generation per year.[2] The larvae are considered a pest, since they seriously damage the bark of litchi trees. The larvae conceal themselves under a double layer web made of silk and excrements.[3] References1. ^funet.fi {{Taxonbar|from=Q2184337}}{{Xyloryctidae-stub}}2. ^HKWildlife.Net Forum 3. ^on the applications of some entomopathogenic nematodes against litchi yponomeutid Comoritis albicapilla Moriuti 2 : Comocritis|Moths described in 1974 |
