It constitutes of the basic management tools that involve planning, organising, leading and control. Arranging a conference from conceptualisation to execution can take any time between 17 days (professionals in the field of conference production) to almost 12 or 18 months. There exists a variety of different conference that ranges from small scale executive meetings to international summits that caters for up to 65 000 people at a time depending on the size of the venue (e.g. stadiums) The most common form of conferencing is based on industry and trade that uses the opportunity to network and benchmark industry trends and standards.
