It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.[1] It appears to be a campsite of the late Early Woodland period. The site has a thin midden and a 1991 study identified seven features including earthen ovens and basin-shaped pits.[2] References1. ^1 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Kentucky-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://heritage.ky.gov/nr/rdonlyres/7fd10722-66d5-4987-a3a3-19a6e27bcfa0/0/thearchaeologyofkentuckyanupdatevolume1new.pdf |title=The Archeology of Kentucky: An Update}} 3 : National Register of Historic Places in Kentucky|Elliott County, Kentucky|Archaeological sites in Kentucky |
