{{About|the visual artist|the writer and performance artist|Constance DeJong (writer)}}Constance DeJong (born 1950) is a visual artist who works in the margin between sculpture and painting/drawing. Her predominate medium is metal with light as a dominate factor.[1]{{page needed|date=March 2017}} She is currently working in New Mexico[2] and is a Professor of Sculpture at the University of New Mexico.[3] DeJong received a National Endowment for the Arts Visual Art Fellowship in 1982.[4] In 2003, she had a retrospective at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. That same year, Constance DeJong: Metal[1] was published and released by University of New Mexico Press. Her work has been described by American art critic Dave Hickey as "work worth seeing and thinking about under any circumstances".[5]

Works by Constance DeJong can be found in the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History, New Mexico; the New Mexico Museum of Art, New Mexico;[6] The Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York;[7] the Fisher Landau Center for Art, Long Island City, New York,[8] the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art,[9] and the Clay Center for Arts and Sciences, Charleston, West Virginia.[10]
