释义 |
The Constitution (Amendment No. 26) Act, 1935 was an Act amending the Constitution of the Irish Free State, amending the constitutional provisions on citizenship. The Act removed a limitation which had existed under the previous Article 3,[1] to the effect that citizenship rights only applied within the jurisdiction of the Free State.[2] The Act became obsolete on the repeal of the 1922 Constitution in 1937, and has formally been repealed by the Statute Law Revision Act 2016.[3] References1. ^http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/1922/act/1/enacted/en/print.html {{Ireland-stub}}2. ^http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/eli/1935/act/12/enacted/en/print.html 3. ^{{cite web|url=https://www.oireachtas.ie/documents/bills28/bills/2016/1616/B16b16S.pdf |format=PDF |title=Statute Law Revision Bill 2016 |website=Oireachtas.ie |accessdate=2017-01-02}} 4 : Acts of the Oireachtas 1935|Constitution of the Irish Free State|Amendments to the Constitution of the Irish Free State|Ireland and the Commonwealth of Nations |
