释义 |
HistoryPermanent settlement occurred on the site as early as 1802; it formerly was called "Lucas Bend".[2] A post office called Crosno was established in 1890, and remained in operation until 1934.[3] F. M. Crosno, an early postmaster, gave the community his last name.[2] Crosno lends its name to the Crosno Fortified Village Archeological Site, a Native American archaeological site listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1969.[4][5] References1. ^{{GNIS|740780|name=Crosno}} {{Mississippi County, Missouri}}{{coord|36|47|51|N|89|10|38|W|type:city_region:US-MO_source:GNIS-enwiki|display=title}}{{MississippiCountyMO-geo-stub}}2. ^1 {{cite web | url=http://shsmo.org/manuscripts/ramsay/ramsay_mississippi.html | title=Mississippi County Place Names, 1928–1945 | publisher=The State Historical Society of Missouri | accessdate=November 6, 2016 | archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20160624071928/http://shsmo.org/manuscripts/ramsay/ramsay_mississippi.html | archivedate=June 24, 2016 | deadurl=no}} 3. ^{{cite web | url=http://www.postalhistory.com/postoffices.asp?task=display&state=MO&county=Mississippi | title=Post Offices| publisher=Jim Forte Postal History | accessdate=6 November 2016}} 4. ^{{cite book|title=Locks and Dam No.26 (replacement), Mississippi River, Alton, IL (MO,IL): Environmental Impact Statement|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=pAgzAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA146|year=1974|page=146}} 5. ^{{cite web | url=http://www.nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com/mo/mississippi/state.html | title=MISSOURI - Mississippi County | publisher=nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com | accessdate=7 November 2016}} 2 : Ghost towns in Missouri|Former populated places in Mississippi County, Missouri |
