词条 | Cupola (cave formation) |
释义 |
A cupola is a recess, indentation, or cavity in the ceiling of a lava tube, a kind of cave formation[1][2]. Cupolas may originate from partial collapse of the ceiling, inflation of the roof by gas or lava pressure, or from a roofed-over site of a former tube overflow.[3] They can be situated anywhere in a lava tube but are most common in lower-level passages.[4] References1. ^{{cite journal |last=Larson |first=Charles V. |year=1993 |page=56 |title=An Illustrated Glossary of Lava Tube Features}} {{Volcanology-stub}}2. ^{{cite book|last=Green|first=Jack|last2=Short|first2=Nicholas M.|year=1971|page=468|title=Volcanic Landforms and Surface Features}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.vulcanospeleology.org/sym06/ISV6x35.pdf|title=Nomenclature of Lava Tube Features|website=Vulcanospeleology.org|accessdate=2017-12-24}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=https://caves.org/virtual/virtual_tube/cupola.html|title=Cupola|website=Caves.org|accessdate=2017-12-24}} 2 : Volcanic landforms|Volcanology stubs |
