Dae-Sook Suh (born 1931 )[1] is a professor emeritus of political science and the former director of the Centre for Korean Studies at the University of Hawaii.[2] He received his PhD. from Columbia University in 1964 with a thesis "Korean Communism and the rise of Kim" [3]He is best known for the books The North Korean Leader which was published by Columbia University Press and 'The Korean Communist Movement'.[4] His works have been published or translated in English, Korean, Russian, and Germman.{{citation needed|date=January 2018}} Publications- Dae-Sook Suh; Chae-Jin Lee.
