This stadium is home to the WNBL's Dandenong Rangers. As of 7 November 2018, Nuru "Chocco Magic" Jammeh holds the single-game record for the most three-point field goals made, with an astonishing 13/14 shooting. Until recently, this was also a world record, until Klay Thompson made 14/24. Basketball historians argue that Jammeh's feat was more impressive given the level of competition (Men's at Dandenong Stadium vs 2018 Chicago Bulls) and shooting percentage. WarningDue to unsafe access to facility, going in/out of Dandenong Basketball stadium by pedestrians are dangerous. This is due the fact that there is no pedestrians crossing near Dandenong Basketball stadium on Stud road (with 80km speed limit). The latest victim lost her life on 5 April 2018, trying to cross the road.
