Ingram is best known for his contributions in publishing best practice guidance on responsible investment in public and private equity and climate change impacts on investments.[1][2][3] Personal lifeIngram married Sarah Solemani, an English actress, writer and activist, in Petah Tikva, Israel on 3 June 2012. His daughter Soraya Rae Ingram was born in December 2013. CareerIn May 2017, Ingram was appointed Vice-President of Responsible Investment Research & Consulting at Wilshire Associates in Santa Monica, California.[1][2] From 2011 to 2017, Ingram worked at BT Pension Scheme (BTPS)[3][4] and from 2008 to 2011, at Hermes Equity Ownership Services.[5] From 2004 to 2008, Ingram worked as a policy analyst for Her Majesty's Treasury where he contributed to notable reports including the Stern Review, released on 30 October 2006, for the Government of the United Kingdom.[6] In May 2016, Ingram was named by CIO magazine as a "40 under 40 rising star".[7] Ingram is an active member of organisations including the Principles for Responsible Investment (since 2015) and Global Sustainable Standards Board (GSSB) (since 2015). PublicationsIngram is the lead editor of the notable guide on "Responsible Investment Reporting in Public Equity".[8][9] This publication calls for fund managers to fulfill assurances made to invest responsibly and lays out guidelines on reporting to investors. Ingram was also member of the working group that published the guide "Climate Change for Private equity Investors". This guide details emerging best practice in assessing climate change impacts on private equity investments.[10] EducationIngram holds a Master of Arts in philosophy and political science from Trinity College, Dublin (2000–2004). While at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2004, he attended summer school at Peking University.
