He played college football at Southern University, and was signed by the Redskins as an undrafted free agent in 2018. College careerFollowing his senior season, Johnson was invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl. He became the first Southern player to be invited to the senior bowl in 23 years.[1] Professional careerJohnson participated in the 2018 NFL Combine.[2][3][4][5] Johnson went unselected in the 2018 NFL Draft, but signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Washington Redskins soon after.[6] He made his NFL debut in the Redskins' season opener against the Arizona Cardinals.
