OverviewBlechman was one of the founding family members of TWINLAB, one of the world's largest producers of nutritional supplements and wellness products. Blechman was part of the launch of a Donald Trump company called The Trump Network, a health and wellness multi-level marketing company that began as Ideal Health.[1] Career at TWINLABBlechman joined TWINLAB in 1979 after graduating Monmouth University as their first fully dedicated salesperson, eventually becoming Executive Vice President of Sales with the company. Notable achievementsIn the early 1990s Blechman served as Director and Board Member of the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA).[2] He was a key strategist and lobbyist for the NNFA and was influential in the team that was responsible for the passage in 1994 of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act through the United States Congress and Senate. This bill still stands today as one of the most important pieces of legislation in the Health Food and Natural Food Supplement Industry. In 1998 he was honored by Ernst & Young with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
