Didier Samuel is a French Professor of hepatology at the University of Paris-Sud. Early life and careerSamuel had obtained his M.D. degree in 1985 from the Medical Faculty Pierre and Marie Curie in Paris and his Ph.D. from the University of Paris-Sud in 1994. From 2010 to 2014 he served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Hepatology and from 2013 to 2014 was a President of the International Transplantation Society.[1] In 2017 he worked closely with Jean-Luc Dubois-Randé of Créteil Medical School on liver transplantation.[2] Awards
