Warsaw is a county (powiat {{IPAc-pl|'|p|o|w|i|a|t}}), and is further divided into 18 districts (dzielnica {{IPAc-pl|'|dz|i|e|l|n|i|c|a}}), each one with its own administrative body. The word dzielnica is also used informally in Polish to refer to any distinct part of a town or city. The current division was introduced in 1990 and revised by Warsaw City Council in 2002. The names of the 18 districts are now as follows: Bemowo, Białołęka, Bielany, Mokotów, Ochota, Praga, Rembertów, Śródmieście, Targówek, Ursus, Ursynów, Wawer, Wesoła, Wilanów, Włochy, Wola, and Żoliborz.
