Lang is an American poet. The author of eleven full-length books of poetry,[3][1] Lang serves as the Poet Laureate of Vallejo, California.[2][3][4] BiographyAs a child Lang lived in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, and was born in Germany.[4] Lang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to publishing her poetry, Lang created documentary films, including Liquid Wind and The Hebrew Project.[5] Her poems have been published in the Benicia Herald,[6] The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles,[7] A Poet's Siddur: Friday Evening: Liturgy Through the Eyes of Poets,[8] the Benicia First Tuesday Poets anthology Light & Shadow[9], the 2018 Marin Poetry Center Anthology, and on ReformJudaism.org.[10] She currently serves as Poet Laureate of Vallejo, California where she edited the poetry anthology Verses, Voices & Visions of Vallejo.[4] WorksCollections
