He was appointed to replace Patrick Hickey, who resigned. BiographyBrunetti works as a real estate agent. Following Hickey's resignation, he was appointed to the Assembly in September 2016 by the Washoe County Commission for the October 2016 special session.[1][2] Brunetti did not stand for election in November 2016 and was succeeded by fellow Republican Jill Tolles.
